जे. जे. केल के गीत 'ओल्ड मैन एंड मी', जिसे मैंने कल पोस्ट किया था, पर फिल्मकार और कवि मित्र रूडी सिंह ने प्रतिक्रियास्वरूप यूट्यूब का एक लिंक भेजा. रूडी की कविता कबाड़खाने पर पढी जा सकती है -  रोशनी देने की काबिलियत है मुझमें भी. आज सुबह उठते ही पहला काम यह हुआ कि डेनियल जॉनस्टन से परिचय हो गया. 22 जनवरी 1961 को जन्मे डेनियल डेल जॉनस्टन अमेरिकी गायक-गीतकार, संगीतकार और कलाकार हैं. 2005 में उन्हें केंद्र में रखकर एक डॉक्यूमेंट्री बनी - 'द डेविल एंड डेनियल जॉनस्टन'. डेनियल स्कित्जोफ्रेनिया और बाईपोलर डिसआर्डर के शिकार हैं और लो-फ़ाई और ऑल्टरनेटिव संगीत के संसार में अपनी अलग पहचान बना चुके हैं.

रूडी की सलाह पर मैंने उनका एक वीडियो देखा जिसमें वे अपने गिटारिस्ट मित्र के साथ बिना किसी ताम झाम के एक जुगलबंदी में व्यस्त हैं. वीडियो की शुरुआत में वे एक गीत गा रहे हैं जिसका लिंक आपके वास्ते मैं अलग से यहाँ लगाए दे रहा हूँ.
